Memory Café Summer Party

This week was the Caremark NI Memory Café’s final meeting before breaking for the summer 🌻 It was also Bloomfield Primary and @linkinggenerationsni‘s final visit.

We were delighted to welcome the school choir who sang a range of songs from the musical Aladdin – everyone enjoyed their fantastic performance. Trisha led those in attendance in making beautiful horseshoe ornaments together. 🤩

We enjoyed a tasty tea party, cuddles from Parker the therapy puppy and a great chat with one another. ☕ 💙

As this was the final meeting of the year, and the last visit from Linking Generations and Bloomfield Primary School, everyone involved in the collaboration received a certificate, thanking them for attending and their contribution to the Memory Café so far in 2024.

Many happy memories were made during the course of the partnership 👦👵. Marci, one of our lovely Caremark Care Assistants, kindly made a beautiful scrapbook, full of photos and messages from the clients.

She presented this to pupils from Bloomfield Primary School as a keepsake for all the pupils and staff.
