March’s News

Read below for March’s news from us at Caremark Cheltenham & Gloucester….

Mike and Jo Folkes attended a “Change NHS” workshop earlier this month which was held at Somerset County Cricket Club.
The event focussed on understanding our experiences, thoughts and ideas on shaping the future of the health and care services and contributing to the new “10 Year Health Plan for the NHS”.
We had focused discussions on the three big shifts in healthcare to make the NHS fit for the future:
- Hospital to community;
- Analogue to digital; and
- Sickness to prevention.
We very much appreciated the opportunity to share ideas from a social care perspective.
After several weeks of ‘chaos reigns’ in the office, Mike and Jo spent all day Saturday with their amazing helper and ‘Henry Aficionado’ Edward re-organising the office ready for kick-off on Monday morning with some new recruits due in training.
What a transformation – light, space and ORDER 😊
All that’s left is getting the marketing boards up on the walls.
Way to go Team Folkes!

And March’s news includes an update on some glowing feedback received about a new recruit…

Abdul is one of our newest recruits, and he’s already making a great impression!
Yesterday, he handled an incident with professionalism and care.
We spoke with the family involved, and they had nothing but praise for him – calm, kind, and caring throughout.
Great job, Abdul! We’re lucky to have you on board. 👏👏
