Loneliness in older people is a common issue that can have significant impacts on their physical and mental well-being. In Gloucestershire, like many other areas, older individuals can experience loneliness due to factors such as isolation, loss of friends or family members, health issues that limit their social interactions, lack of transportation, or living alone.
Come along, have a natter, maybe make some new friends in your local area.
Caremark aims to support the communities that we serve and help combat loneliness later in life.
We will also have information available if you are interested in working in the care sector.
