Their stories of determination, career shifts, and commitment to community care are both inspiring and enlightening.

What Motivated Rabiya Muhammad to Join Caremark?

Rabiya, Caemark Test Valley

Rabiya Muhammad’s journey to becoming a Caremark franchise owner is a testament to perseverance and the power of following one’s dreams. With a background in restaurant management and HR, Rabiya always felt a calling towards healthcare.

“I wanted to do something in healthcare,” Rabiya explains. “I did my research and looked at other opportunities, but the model and support of Caremark stood out.”

Her interest in Caremark wasn’t just a passing fancy. Since 2015, Rabiya had her sights set on owning a Caremark franchise. Life took her on a different path for a while, but her dream never faded.

I always wanted a Caremark franchise,” she recalls. “In 2015, I found Caremark. I had seen the model, but I had to wait for personal reasons. After so many years, I actually got Test Valley, the territory I had always wanted. It’s like destiny!

For Rabiya, owning a Caremark franchise is more than just a business venture – it’s a personal mission. “I wanted to do something on my own,” she says. “I wanted to show that I can do it. I have a can-do attitude and now is the time for me to stand up.”

What Has Been Rabiya’s Experience with Caremark So Far?

Rabiya’s experience with Caremark has been overwhelmingly positive. She praises the franchise support centre for their friendliness and professionalism, noting that she likes the environment. The induction process has been particularly helpful, providing her with a wealth of information to start her journey.

Looking ahead, Rabiya has clear goals: “My goal is to grow my team, my business, and make a meaningful impact in my Test Valley community, which is close to my heart.”

The Inspiring Duo: Olu and Bunmi Akindeinde

Olu and Bunmi, Caremark Brentwood

The story of Olu and Bunmi Akindeinde is one of complementary skills and a shared vision. This power couple brings a diverse range of experiences to their new Caremark franchise.

With a background in financial services, property, and sales, Olu emphasises the importance of project management within a community context. “It’s all about community-driven project management,” he explains. “I also run my own businesses, and I believe that effective project management is essential for fostering collaboration and growth within our community“.

Bumni brings healthcare expertise to the table. “We probably balance each other because I have experience in healthcare, NHS, dietetics. I also bring the education and development side”, she says.

What Drew Olu and Bunmi to Caremark?

Their decision to join Caremark wasn’t made lightly. They conducted extensive research before making their choice. What ultimately swayed them was the personal touch and family-oriented nature of the business.

“We did a lot of research,” they explain. “The reason why we chose Caremark was because of our interaction with the Caremark family. We spoke with Matthew, and we liked the fact it was family-owned. The leadership gave us confidence.”

How Has Their Experience with Caremark Been So Far?

Like Rabiya, the Akindeindes have found the induction process to be invaluable.

“It has been very informative,” they share. “It has reinforced our decision because we can benefit from loads of knowledge and experience, which means we don’t have to figure everything out on our own and hopefully avoid some unnecessary mistakes.”

They appreciate the reassurance of being at the franchise support centre and meeting staff members, gaining a deeper understanding of how everything works.

What Aspirations do they have for Their Caremark Franchise?

For the Akindeindes, the rewards of owning a Caremark franchise go beyond financial success. They see it as an opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives and in their community.

“The most rewarding part of owning a Caremark franchise will be the journey,” they explain. “Where you are taking people from, and where you are taking them to. The side of the people, and how we can impact them. Everyone within Caremark should grow. And we should also impact the wider community as a result. We can’t grow while everybody else is static.”

They envision a future where their Caremark office in Brentwood becomes a hub of positivity and growth. “That day when we wake up, go to the office and hear ‘Brentwood is the place to be’, you come in and there’s a family vibe, and on the business side, there’s joy. I think witnessing that and knowing it’s our business – that’s what we’re looking forward to.”

As these new franchise owners embark on their Caremark journeys, their stories serve as inspiration for others considering a similar path. With their diverse backgrounds, unwavering determination, and commitment to community care, Rabiya Muhammad and the Akindeindes are poised to make significant contributions to the healthcare landscape through their Caremark franchises.
