At Caremark Greenwich, we take pride in providing exceptional personal care. We understand that choosing personal care services can be overwhelming, so we strive to provide all the information you need to make an informed and comfortable decision. Our team of care assistants brings years of experience and extensive training, always focused on helping you maintain your independence while making life a little easier.

Your care assistant will be thoroughly screened, background-checked, and matched to your specific needs. We recognise that the process of obtaining personal care assistance can seem daunting, so we have streamlined it into five simple steps.

1. Think about what your needs are

We’re ready to create a care plan that meets your standards and will collaborate with you to ensure your comfort. It’s important to consider all your priorities and preferences, no matter how small, to guarantee that we meet all your needs. No task is too small or too big. Do you need help booking and attending medical appointments? Assistance with continence, grooming, or medication? Support with household chores, shopping, meal preparation, domestic duties, or social activities? Whether you need help starting your day, preparing for bed, or just a check-in a few times a week, there is a care plan for you. Don’t hesitate to ask.

3. Book yourself in for an assessment

Now that you’ve identified your needs and had your questions answered, please let us know so we can match you with a care assistant who aligns with your specific requirements, preferences, and values. Our support arrangements are always personalised to your requirements or, if you prefer, your family’s needs. The services you request will be included in your tailored care and support plan.

4. Are you qualified for NHS, Local Authority funding or paying for funding?

Once you’ve been assessed and offered a care plan, the next step is to understand the payment options. At Caremark Greenwich, we ensure you are fully informed about the payment structure, with no hidden costs. You may qualify for financial support or complete funding. We can advise you on the availability of Local Authority or NHS funding and help you determine the best option for your situation. Payment is based on an hourly rate that varies depending on the time of day services are provided. It is possible that you won’t need to pay out of pocket.

For detailed information, please contact the Caremark office. If funding is through your local authority, it will typically come in the form of personal budgets or direct payments. However, If funded by your local HSC Trust, the methods will be direct payments or funding directly through the HSC Trust.

If you are not eligible for financial assistance, you can pay privately through various methods, including cheque, debit card, or bank transfer. Please check in with the Greenwich office to see which payment methods are accepted
