Caremark Greenwich is bringing new energy to the Woolwich community with the launch of their seated exercise sessions, designed to help residents stay active, healthy, and connected.

The sessions, held weekly at a local retirement housing in Bentham House, offer a safe and inclusive way for older adults and those with limited mobility to engage in physical activity. Led by Caremark Greenwich, the exercises focus on improving strength, flexibility, and circulation — all from the comfort of a chair.

The initiative is part of its ongoing commitment to promoting wellbeing beyond the home. “We believe that staying active is vital for both physical and mental health, no matter your age or ability,” said a Managing Director – Sukhvir Gill. “These seated sessions are about more than just exercise; they’re also about building community spirit and having fun.”

The programme has already seen strong interest from local residents and care clients. Participants have praised the classes for their welcoming atmosphere and the positive impact on their day-to-day lives.

Sessions are open to all residents and are free of charge. Caremark Greenwich encourages anyone interested to come along, whether they are looking to boost their fitness, make new friends, or simply try something new.
