February 2023’s Care Assistant of the Month: Stacy

We are delighted to announce our February Care Assistant of the month is Stacy Akers from Caremark North Hertfordshire & Stevenage

Stacy was nominated by four of her colleagues who describe her as a naturally caring person who goes above and beyond for her customers.

She was praised for not only her dedication to her customers but also her commitment to helping her colleagues and bringing out the best in them.

One of her colleagues recalled when she first met Stacy was on a visit with a non verbal young man who was severely disabled. Stacy spoke to the customer and sang to him, putting on funny voices and putting her customer at ease. He was very interested in her and smiled and even gave her a high five, on her first visit. “Stacy was really amazing, when I work with Stacy she just makes me happy.”
