Nicole

Nicole joined Caremark Kirklees as a Field Care Supervisor in October 2023 and is responsible for supporting around 40 carers, as well as carrying out assessments for new customers and helping to put care plans in place for them.
Nicole came to us with a wealth of experience in care, although she started out in the world of work as a hairdresser.
Nicole says: “I had been a hairdresser since leaving school and had a friend working in a care home so I thought I would do this part-time as a way of earning a bit more money, but I fell in love with the job and the rest is history!”
Nicole initially worked in residential care, including during the tough period of the pandemic, and then went on to work for a company which provides supporting living services for young adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health issues.
Nicole has hit the ground running at Caremark and has fitted right in with the head office team and the care assistants.
“Everyone has been really supportive, and I am really enjoying working here,” she says.
“It’s a job which gives me the best of both worlds because I still get to go out on calls to support customers which I have always enjoyed.”
Outside of work, Nicole has been saving up to buy a house with her boyfriend they hope to realise their dream of moving into together in the new year.
