The story of the Twin Senior Care Assistants

As children, Amber and Jas Grey were inseparable, and this bond has continued into adulthood as they both pursued careers in senior care. Although they were sometimes placed in separate classes at school, they always ended up together and shared the same circle of friends.
Amber was the first to join Caremark Redcar and Cleveland, while Jas worked in a residential care home. After obtaining her driver’s license, Jas left her job and joined her sister at Caremark. The twins have been with the company for four years, starting in home care support and moving to the rapid response team, where they cover for colleagues and respond to customer emergencies. They are now both senior carers and are responsible for introducing new recruits to the job.
Jas advises against listening to people who have not worked in the sector, as they often have misconceptions about the job. According to her, the job is all about making a difference in people’s lives by helping them feel comfortable and happy.
The twins find their job incredibly rewarding on a personal level. Amber loves the feeling of accomplishment that comes with helping someone who is unable to care for themselves. Jas agrees, adding that she even misses her customers when she goes on holiday. Last year, she traveled to the Lakes and Gran Canaria several times, but she was happy to return to work and her customers.
