Our superstar Senior Support Worker Chloe is getting ready to enter the ring in the next few weeks, something she has been training for since Spring.
Chloe has worked in our team for 10 years, joining as a Support Worker back in 2013 and following our promotional pathway to develop and grow professionally into an amazing clinically trained Senior Support Worker. Chloe has also been involved in coordination and supervisory roles along the way, as well as supporting children with extremely complex health conditions.
Alongside her professional journey, Chloe has been on her own personal adventure. Chloe doesn’t mind us mentioning that she has battled with her own weight for many years, however, she has won every single time, losing a whopping 17 stone altogether. Chloe is committed to her fitness, to her health and her wellbeing, going to the gym consistently to keep herself physically and mentally fit.
Chloe’s next personal goal is to partake in a Professional boxing match, for the last 18 months Chloe has put her blood sweat and tears into her training and has worked hard in the gym to enhance her skills and master her techniques.
However not just anyone can put on a pair of protective gloves and step into a boxing ring. A Professional Boxer Licence issued by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) the governing body of professional boxing in the United Kingdom, ensures that all professional boxers have undergone full vetting and medical testing and have successfully passed a comprehensive screening process to ensure full health and safety of both the boxer and their opponents. Chloe obtained her licence in April and is now just weeks away from stepping foot into the ring for the first time. We have followed Chloe’s journey from the beginning and all our team are behind her to continue seeing her achieve all of her goals.
