We want to take the time to celebrate our fantastic Staff, who go the extra mile for their Clients every single day. Without them, Caremark would not exist! Working in social care is an extremely rewarding role, but it comes with challenges like any other job. Our brilliant Support Workers and Management Team are the most passionate, dedicated and caring individuals and we are so proud of the commitment and compassion which they bring to their work.
Our High Retention Rate
The turnover rate within the UK social care industry is estimated to be around 31%, and Caremark continues to defy the odds. Our staff retention sits at 95%, and 28 of our Team have been with us for over two years now- which is absolutely incredible. One of our main commitments is ensuring that our Staff feel supported, confident in their ability to support clients, and happy to come to work each day. At the core of this, we ensure that our Team is built up of people who contribute to our strong company culture- in which we recognise and champion each other’s achievements and hard work, and empower each other to be the best we possibly can.

Our Confident, Committed and Highly Trained Staff
Confidence is key at Caremark. Our Support Workers are some of the most highly trained in the industry, and consistently provide an excellent standard of care to their Clients. As a team, they complete almost 3000 hours of training each year. This provides them with a broad, comprehensive understanding of complex and clinical needs, and allows them to support their Clients at an outstanding level. Additional training is made available to anybody who would like to upskill or enhance their knowledge in a specific area. Each time we offer a new training opportunity, we are consistently seeing a huge uptake of Support Workers who are keen to develop themselves professionally. It’s always a brilliant reminder of the commitment and motivation that our Staff demonstrate!
We Value Our Team
We make sure to show our Staff how much we appreciate them and offer a range of benefits through our attractive remuneration package. As part of this, Staff are automatically entitled to a paid day off on their birthday. We have recently provided our Team with access to a free Blue Light Card, which can be used to unlock a range of discounts to popular stores and brands. Additionally, our quarterly HALO Award is a great opportunity for us to recognise and thank those who consistently go the extra mile for their Clients. The winner receives up to £200 each quarter in either cash or a gift voucher! We constantly review our Staff recognition initiatives, and always welcome any feedback from the Team surrounding how we can improve our offering.
