From Care Assistant to Care Co-ordinator: Chloe’s Career Progression
Chloe’s journey with Caremark is a testament to dedication, passion, and the opportunities available within our organisation. She joined us as a care assistant, driven by a desire to make a difference. Chloe was inspired by her mother who had been working in care for over 15 years. Chloe said ‘seeing my mum help and support people inspired me to also start as a carer, working for Caremark Solihull was the best decision I made and has given me the best start to my career in care ‘. Her commitment to providing exceptional care quickly became evident, earning her the respect and admiration of both her colleagues and the customers she supported.
Starting as a Care Assistant
Chloe’s role as a care assistant involved providing essential support to customers, helping them with daily activities, and ensuring their well-being. Her empathetic nature and strong work ethic made her a standout team member. She consistently went above and beyond, always putting the needs of her customers first.
Rising to Care Co-ordinator
Recognising her potential, we offered Chloe the opportunity to advance her career. She wanted to upskill and develop further in health and social care, she embraced the challenge and transitioned into the role of care co-ordinator. In this position, Chloe’s responsibilities expanded to include overseeing roster, coordinating with other care assistants, and ensuring that all clients received the highest standard of care. Her leadership skills and attention to detail have been instrumental in maintaining the quality of our services.
Chloe said she loves that she still has close contact with not only our customers but also staff.
