On 28th March 2024, we are holding a recruitment advice day. The day is organised on a drop-in format – between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm – so there is no need for you to book.
The venue for this event is the Kent MS Therapy Centre, Bradbury House, Merton Lane North, Canterbury CT4 7DZ and parking is available.
Caremark Thanet and Canterbury has been providing domiciliary care since 2012. We are specifically looking for care assistants to work in Canterbury. We cover all areas in the district of Canterbury (CT1, CT2, CT3, CT4, CT5, CT6).
Although our drop-in session is aimed at Canterbury care assistants, we will be very happy to chat with you if you are looking to work in Thanet or Dover (Dover, Deal and Sandwich).
The aim of the day is to provide you with general information about working in domiciliary care and more particularly working for Caremark Thanet and Canterbury.
If you have experience of working in domiciliary care that’s great; however, we do not necessarily look for experience. We are more concerned about what you are like as a person. We look for, amongst other things, the qualities of reliability, conscientiousness, compassion and your ability to get along with people.
If you work for us, you will offer you a rate of pay of £14.50 per hour; a comprehensive 2 weeks induction and training course; the chance to undertake specialist training, progression opportunities and a whole lot more.
