Sneha

Sneha Rajbhar never knew homecare existed until she came to the UK but helping people is something she has always been comfortable doing.

Whether checking in thousands of people at Mumbai airport or volunteering in a care home in her native India, Sneha prides herself of providing great customer service.

So, whilst providing care in people’s own homes was completely new to her, her previous experience meant it didn’t take long for her to adjust.

Sneha came to the UK to do a Masters in Science, Accounting and Finance and after successfully completing this she decided to stay on to work in homecare.

She has now worked at Caremark Wakefield for 18 months and says she really enjoys being a carer.

“It’s a profession I never knew existed and it is a little unusual when you go into people’s homes for the first time, but it didn’t take me long to adapt,” says Sneha.

“I spent my initial time absorbing people and their different characters and soon became comfortable with everything.

“I also saw positive changes in myself and now when I visit our customers, I treat everyone like they are a member of my own family.”

Sneha says she is always seeking to enhance herself so hasn’t ruled out progressing further within Caremark if the opportunity arises.

“I don’t know what will happen, but I do enjoy working in care and am very ambitious, so we will see,” she adds.

In her spare time Sneha really enjoys cooking, describing it as “my therapy”.
